As you may know from previous stories, Aibat is an ordinary English boy growing up in an ordinary English village. But as with his name, his life is far from ordinary and it's often amazing to witness some of the things that happen to him. Aibat is older now, he’s in his last year of school before heading to university, and he’ll be 18 before the end of this year.

The usual crowd are still in town but Tom’s no longer on the scene, having joined the RAF from school. He always wanted to be a pilot, but his dad was in the army and this struck him as a way of following in his father’s footsteps while still following his own dreams. The RAF is the Royal Air Force, which is a branch of the military.

Tom might turn up now and again, but he is based a long way from Madeley now so it’s not convenient to get back. He has to follow his own path, while Aibat, who you may be aware is in fact called Peter Robinson, has his own ambitions.

Join him again as his adventures become, like your English, even more impressive, while he remains as always, your friend.
